The Legal Action Center (LAC) is a non-profit advocacy and legal services organization based in New York City whose mission is to fight discrimination, build health equity, and restore opportunity for people with arrest or conviction records.
LAC uses a multi-pronged strategy involving direct legal representation, impact litigation, policy advocacy, training, and coalition building.
